GRADUATION PROGRAM „CASTLES IN POLAND”
The rules of program
1 The graduation program „ZAMKI w POLSCE” („CASTLES in POLAND”) is aimed at encouraging people to get to know Polish history as well as visiting historical sites.
2 To take part in the program, you must have a Sender's Licence or a Short Wave Listener's Licence.
3 Confirmed radio QSO/SWL with castles and other objects classified in a register carried out in all amateur waves and all types of emission will be rated to a „ZAMKI w POLSCE” („CASTLES in POLAND”) certificate. Radio contacts carried out by repeaters are allowed.
4 The graduation program „ZAMKI w POLSCE” („CASTLES in POLAND”) includes three kinds of certificates: - „DYPLOM SZLACHECKI” - „THE GENTRY AWARD” – for QSL/SWL with stations working in a place with historical sites rated in a „Castles in Poland” register, - „DYPLOM RYCERSKI” - „THE KNIGHT'S AWARD” – for QSO/SWL with stations working in places rated in a „Castles in Poland” register, -„THE CASTELLAN'S AWARD” - for operators working in places rated in a „Castles in Poland” register.
5 A higher standart of certificate is obtained by adding seals to certificates. Required numbers of QSO/SWL for individual levels of certificates shows the table below.
Individual levels of certificates don't have to be won one after another, thus you can compete for a higher class omitting lower ones.
6 To compete for a certificate you must have appropriate numbers of QSOs, confirmed by QSL cards, e- QSL is permitted.
Radio contacts carried out during „CASTLE COMPETITIONS” with the stations working from castles and the stations working from places where the castles are, will be counted to certificates on the grounds of received logos from competitions, no QSL cards needed.
7 Radio contacts/short wave with the stations working „from castles” are counted to „The Gentry Award”.
8 Stations taking part in „Certificate Program” compete with one another. The competition refers to „The Gentry Certificate” and „ The Knight's Certificate” with a division of individual, club and SWL’s stations, and „The Castellan's Certificate”with a division of individual and club stations.
9 . The charges for certificates are as follow: - for foreign stations – 10 Euro or 10 IRC - a seal confirming a higher class of a certificate – 5 Euro or 5 IRC.
10 An application form and payments for a certificate or a seal containing a list of carried out radio contacts are to be sent to an Award Manager: Ireneusz Kołodziej SP6TRX ul. Konrada I 25/15, 67-200 Głogów POLAND
11 The Award Manager has the right to ask for any ard or QSL cards from those listed in the application.
